It's amazing how quickly the summer went. I can't believe it is September and that fall is almost here.
I'm slowly working my way through all the pictures that I took this summer and will start to post more of them up here over the next couple of days - I PROMISE!
But while you wait for that here is a video of Ryan from this evening (yes he is wearing a purple diaper and playing with Sarah's old pink blanket - he is not afraid to show his feminine side!)

Quick Update:
Drew - is loving every minute of school. He asks every morning if he gets to go that day and on the days he does he is running into his classroom. I always have to call him back to get a hug and kiss. The only bad thing about school is that he feels like he must make up for his lost hours of tormenting Sarah so his afternoons are spent doing everything he can to make Sarah scream.
Sarah - she isn't sure what to think about Drew being at school. Some days she loves it, others she just follows me around and asks "where's Drew?" She has also started repeating phrases that she hears all the time. She talks ALL THE TIME! So between her and Drew I never get minute where someone isn't talking to me.
Ryan - He is growing up so fast! In the past 2 weeks he has started rolling over from back to belly all the time. He did it for the first time on Aug 8th but then wouldn't do it again until the past week when he started doing it everytime you put him on his back. I have a feeling he isn't going to do anything until he can do it right. He has rolled from belly to back one time, but again he hasn't done it again. One of these days I'm going to just find him rolling across the room once he figures it out. This past week he has also started to tripod sit. He can only balance for about 15 to 20 seconds before he gets too excited and throws his arms up and loses his balance again. We are also going to be starting baby food soon since he sits on my lap at dinner and trys to grab all my food off my plate.

Drew's first day of Pre-K
This morning I dropped Drew off for his first day of Pre-K. He will go half a day on Tues/Wed/Thurs. He was ready to go and hardly stopped what he was doing to say goodbye. I have a few pictures of him at the house, but it will be a few days before they are up, but for now here are a few quick pics of him at school.

Slip N Slide!
We decided to pull out the Slip N Slide one weekend for Drew. Last year Drew loved going down it, but would make us give him a push to start. This year he could do it himself, but found out that running down the slide was a bad idea! After a few bonks to the head he learned to not run down the slide!

What happens when I try to take pictures of Ryan while the big kids are awake
One morning I tried to get pictures of Ryan laying on his playmat but the big kids decided that they wanted to be in the pictures.
Ryan - 8 weeks
At least I am only a month behind now! Here are pictures of Ryan from the beginning of June
He has gotten really good at holding his head up and is always smiling.

Fun in the Sun
The last weekend in May we finally got out the pool for the kids. Sarah wasn't too sure about it, but Drew had a blast.
Sarah's Masterpiece
Not long after we got home from our trip to Kansas Sarah and Drew found the special markers and paper that I had packed for a special treat for them in the car. Thankfully they were so good that I never had to pull them out. So when they found then I let them have some fun one afternoon while I was making dinner.
